Lance helping goalie coach our niece at her soccer game last week! Watching little kids play sports is the cutest. 

For the past 3 weeks, I've been going to the gym at 6 am and it has been awesome. I love being awake so early,  and I feel like I have more energy during the day. I also go to bed before 10 which is awesome. 

I took this pic the other day before I got to the gym. 

I love how the mountains look black against the blue sky. So pretty. 

I love living so close to the mountains!

When I walk back to my car and the sky is lit up with morning light, I take a deep breath and have an overwhelming feeling of gratitude to be alive! #blessed 

A new summer, a new internship! This summer I'm at a geotechnical engineering firm working in the soils lab. Not going to lie, I don't really like it. 

But I don't really like working in general sooooo that might be apart of my 'not liking  it' haha. 

I also stand all day and lift things and pound things and squish things...so it's quite involved physically which can be a little tiring. 

but hey! at least it's a job right?

One benefit of this job is I wear the same dirty old jeans everyday, same shirts every week, and no makeup! It literally takes me 8 minutes to get ready, including a shower! 

Also, Lance and I are getting SCUBA certified! The classes have been really fun! We finish up our last 2 dives this week, now we just need to plan a trip:] Anyone want to take us to Hawaii?
