Last week my poor Lance had ACL reconstruction surgery. He tore his ACL about two years ago playing soccer and we finally decided to fix it.*
He's healing really well. The PT today said he's by far the best ACL tear patient he's had from the last round of ACL surgeries. Go Lance!
Here's a few pics from the surgery day below...
^^6:00 AM at the hospital
^^Getting his socks on!
^^After the surgery, a little drugged up, but he did such a good job!
^^The day after was my birthday. I may or may not have cried a couple times. I tend to get really emotional on my birthday. I'm just so so grateful for the life I have, and how blessed I am. And that I've been able to live this long, and everything that's going to happen in the coming year of my life. Anyways. Birthdays are very special to me.
^^A little nervous
^^Also, THE BLOOD MOON.
*When Lance tore his ACL, he was in a soccer class at BYU. He was in a lot of pain and NO ONE offered to drive him home. He had to walk home, in the snow, with a flippen torn knee! He didn't tell me until after what had happened, but man, isn't he tough?? Also, come on people! Offer a hurt man a ride home!!
