So before our little trip, we went to a Rodrigo y Gabriela concert. It was so great! To be honest, I got a little sleepy in the middle, but hearing their songs live was so worth it.
We just brought a blanket, but next time we're bringing a picnic!
A couple days later we met some of Lance's old roommates for dinner in Santa Monica. It was great! I love the third street promenade area and wish we could have explored a little longer!

The main point of out trip was to see my good friend Rach get married!! The night before the wedding we took her out for ice cream and treats. She was blind folded the whole way there, and we had fun making her think we were going somewhere crazy ;]

On Friday night, we went out to dinner for Tan's bday! It was one of the family favorites, shabu shabu (Japanese dining experience where you cook your own food!).
^^I ventured out and got the seafood plate, it was yum!
