Hello hello.

 Life is good.

My master's is going well. I'm giving a presentation on my research this Monday at a Utah Liquefaction Advisory Group meeting. I get nervous presenting in front of people! I feel like if I pretend that I know what I'm doing, I will look like I know what I'm doing...fake it til you make it right? ;]

A friend introduced me to this Utah Women and Leadership blog. It encourages women to be leaders and be confident and I absolutely love it!

"Confidence is the ingredient that separates those who imagine from those who accomplish. It’s an important part of personal happiness, success and fulfillment. It is a sense that one can try new things, overcome hurdles, and master hard things. It is self-esteem that says “I like myself”, “I am valuable”, “I believe in myself.”'

It is SO easy to lack confidence. Sometimes I doubt myself and think that I'm not smart enough or not good enough...but those thoughts aren't true!

This quote was a great reminder of how important confidence is. WE CAN DO HARD THINGS! We can do things that are out of our comfort zone!

We had some people over for the Super Bowl this weekend. What a game eh?! My favorite commercial was #likeagirl. If I have a daughter one day, I hope I can show her that she can do anything she puts her mind to.

Last week an engineering friend and his wife (who own a cake business) showed me how to make a fondant cake! It was fun and surprisingly easy.

I'm taking a polynesian dance class right now! I love it! We just finished our Hawaiian section and this is our final dance. I had no shame asking someone to film me haha.
