Can't believe school starting up again! Lucky for me, I'm not taking any classes this semester! I'm going to focus 100% on my master's project, yipee!
Lance and I got some pets! For the past couple weeks we've been conditioning our 4 gallon fish tank and it's finally ready for some occupants. Right now we have 5 ghost shrimp. Well one of them is preggo so we might actually have 50 pretty soon haha. We're looking at putting a couple fish in there this week. I love that Lance loves aquariums! I love them too, but I don't think I would have done all of the work/research that is required to have a successful ecosystem.
As we've been in and out of pet stores getting all of the things for the tank, I've been obsessed with getting a dog. Probably won't happen for a while...anyone have a dog I can play with?
On a more personal note, lately I've been praying to find opportunities to serve others throughout my day. I've been on campus working the last week, and as I've walked around I've tried to be a little more observant by taking out my headphones. The other day I saw a straight up pregnant woman trying to carry a stroller with a toddler in it up the stairs. I helped her out. That sounds really dumb and insignificant, but I feel like my day is much better when I'm looking for ways to be kind and serve, even if it's just smiling at someone. I have come to know that I'm much happier when I spend less time focused inward on myself and my problems, and instead focus on others. #sharegoodness
