Well we've survived the week here in Washington! It's been so great and relaxing! Favorite things about our city so far:
1. Walking distance from frozen yogurt, major plus
2. There are trees EVERYWHERE!
3. There's a trail literally right in our backyard. I've been running on it a couple times and it's been awesome.
4. It's not hot! and it's summer! I was freaking out when I found out that pretty much zero apartments have A/C in Seattle, but it's been fine! Most days it's been a nice 65 degrees.
Here's some pics of the last couple days since we've been here...
^^We have a local butcher ! We picked up some rib eyes and house made sausages. Everything has been delicious.
^^We checked out some waterfalls nearby and they did not disappoint. We're still so surprised at how forresty it is here.

^^The silver gates and dense bushes made us feel like we were in Jurassic Park. This pic is after me telling Lance to pretend he's being eaten by a dinosaur.
