SPRING IS HERE SPRING IS HERE! Today is the most beautiful day! Blue skies, flowers blooming...it's such a treat. Having a cold winter definitely makes me appreciate spring and summer.
Last weekend was really great. Lance's family was in town for Easter, we went to the Oquirrh Mountain temple, and we spent Saturday evening rocking out to Coheed and Cambria.
Easter was so wonderful. I love this time of the year that we have to reflect on the life of the Savior and His sacrifice for us. His life and example bring me so much peace.
The concert was great! Well, minus the 3 opening bands. Man. They were terrible.
Being short at a concert isn't ideal. Luckily a group of fellow shorties welcomed me to their group so I got to stand a little closer to the stage. I always made sure I could still see Lance though, didn't want to get lost!
Lance's brother is preparing to go on a mission in a couple of weeks. We got to take him to the temple for first time. It was very special. There is such a sweet spirit in that building!

^^Lance and I tried making spun sugar for the first time. Worked out pretty nicely! We used it as a decoration for panna cottas I made for Easter dinner.
