Y'ALL IT'S ALMOST CHRISTMAS!! It is my absolute favorite time of the year!
Some of my favorite things we did this month were seeing a live Nativity and going to THREE awesome dance shows when Lance's mom came into town!
The live Nativity was so special. It was on someones farm and the people made the place look like Bethlehem. There were Roman Soldiers and everything. They had tons of animals, even camels! I had never seen a real life camel before and man they are HUGE. My favorite part was going into a shed and seeing a reenactment of the Nativity scene. I couldn't help but cry it was so beautiful! It really was a great reminder of the reason I celebrate Christmas; because of a baby born over 2000 years ago that has redeemed the world. I love Christmas.
This last weekend, Lances mom came into town, and when she comes to town, we PARTAYYY! haha she was so nice to get us tickets to see So You Think You Can Dance on tour, and two versions of the Nutcracker. It was so fun! I love seeing the Nutcracker, and this one was the best yet!
I had my girlfriends over for a little Christmas dinner. It was so fun to see these girls and hang out just like old times! Love them!
Also, the snow situation has been seriously lacking. A couple weeks ago we were able to barely gather up enough snow to make a couple snow balls (which Lance then threw at me haha). However, it's snowing right now, so yay! Hopefully it will stick around this time.
We love winter!
