Lance and I were able to take a little vacay to the beautiful Islands of Turks and Caicos last week! It was absolutely amazing! The sun was bright and the water was warm...just how we like it.
Favorite activity was definitely snorkeling. We did it almost everyday and sometimes twice a day! The reefs were absolutely beautiful! Lots and lots of colorful fishes and coral. I felt like we were in Finding Nemo.
Sunsets on the beach were dreamy...I miss it already.
The resort was on the island of Providenciales or "Provo" for short.

One of my favorite little birds from the island was this stork like dude. I called him Mr. Neckersons.
Lance and I were able to go SCUBA DIVING!! YEAHH! We definitely discovered our new hobby. It was so fun. Next step: Open water certification. Our wonderful instructor was so nice and took tons of pics for us!

We even got to see a couple sea turtles. They're so cute!
We decided to go out of the resort and grab some fresh, local, island food. Lance got a whole lobster and I got a coconut curry grouper. It was some of the best seafood I've ever had. I literally couldn't stop smiling for like 3 hours after our meal...yummy food makes me so happy!
On Thursday the resort had sports awards and Lance and I won for Scuba diving! Well actually, everyone who went scuba diving won, but still! We felt special:]
One afternoon was really rainy. We decided to go out for a snorkel instead of being bored around the hotel room. Visibility wasn't that great, but it was still fun!

Lanced loved finding all of the geckos and lizards on the island.
Every afternoon the staff would go to the pool and do a little dance. It was a little lame, but still funny to watch!
One of my favorite things the resort offered was the flying trapeze! It was SO FUN!

We will definitely be back Turks and Caicos!!
