UPDATES!

SCHOOL IS ALMOST OVER!! Also it's FREEZING here. Ice. Everywhere. Also I've been doing some cool things over the last couple of weeks...

My mother-in-law came down and took the girls out to see TWO dance shows! Seriously fun! I also ran into two of my old roomies at the show. Bonus!

We also went to a ballet! I felt very classy haha. A 

week after we saw the ballet, I actually learned about The Firebird in my Music 101 class. That was pretty cool. 

 My Fluid Mechanics teacher surprised us with a guest speaker, THE PRESIDENT OF BYU! That was such a cool experience! He had so much insight and advice, a very interesting man! Pretty sure I was the only one in class that thought this was the coolest thing ever. He's like a celebrity people!

Lance and I set up Christmas decor! I love the christmas season. I also love that we get to spend it in California! Can't wait! 

Let it be known, this is one of the best smelling candles in the universe. Fresh balsam. Bath and Body Works. 

My attempt to capture the snow storm on Tuesday. It has been so cold this whole week. 

OH YEAH THANKSGIVING! I ran a half marathon! It was SO DIFFICULT. I was pretty good about my training, until the last month. I had terrible shin splints so I decided to just rest up until the race. Big mistake. First of all, I felt like I had 0.00 leg muscles. My legs were burning basically the whole time. Second, my shin splints didn't really heal at all. So running the race just made them worse. It's really only in my right leg. I haven't been able to walk correctly since the race last week. I've been limping like a zombie. It stinks. I can't put any weight on my right leg when it's bent, so I just have it straight when I walk. Also it hurts a lot. We think it might be a stress fracture since it's not improving and it's only in one spot on my leg. Stay tuned...

Pure misery. I was on the verge of tears towards the end.

The whole family came out to see me at the finish line, so sweet guys! Sorry it was so anti-climactic!!

Thanksgiving dinner! It was delicious.
