Fancy Feast & a Symphony

Sometimes I like to make fancy things. This weekend was one of those times. On Sunday, I made BEEF WELLINGTON a la Gordon Ramsay. Lemme just say, Lance and I love Gordon. We watch all of his shows (minus Hell's Kitchen, that one is stupid), and try his recipes. ANYWAYS, I made the Wellington. I have to be honest here, I didn't really like it. It was just so...heavy. I don't know what else I was expecting. Filet wrapped in chopped mushroom, wrapped in prosciutto, wrapped in puff pastry is kinda a heavy, hearty sounding thing. Luckily Lance did like it. I can always count on my main man! :]

On Saturday, we went to the BYU wind symphony show. It was okay. Actually I thought it was boring. Feeling a little bit like uncultured swine, but to justify, the guy next to me fell asleep immediately. So, it was probably boring.

In other news, FOUR MORE EXAMS UNTIL THANKSGIVING! Let's do this thing.
