PEOPLE, WE HAVE MADE IT/Momma Turns 40/Father's Day

Summer is officially here for the Harpers! We still work full time, but no more school until August! We both did good (enough) in our classes which is is all good with us! C's get degrees right? Just kidding. Actually I'm not kidding.

We had a very exciting week. We decided to fly down to California for the weekend for my mom's surprise 40th birthday party. It was so nice to see and spend time with family. I LOVE MY FAMILY!

Highlights of the weekend:

-Seeing all of my little siblings, they are all growing up so fast!
-Eating yummy mexican food cooked by my number one favorite chef: my good ol' pops
-Surprising momma
-Discovering our new favorite drink, Piñata Smash (minus the tequila). Seriously read the ingredients. It was so delicious.

Also just to note, the boys decided to break out the good ol dumb and dumber suits from the wedding. I think this will be a recurring tradition for all family gatherings for the next couple years (until they grow out of them) haha.

Coming back on sunday was rough. We were so sleepy just wanted to stay and DID NOT want to take our finals. So, naturally, my solution was making ice cream and brownies for dinner. It was awesome.

On Tuesday, we went to a U.S men's soccer world cup qualifying game. They played Honduras. IT WAS AWESOME! Lance has been waiting for this game for months, and he loved it. So glad! Oh yeah we won too! 

They gave us free scarves too!!

I know it's kinda late, but I just want to say Happy Father's Day to all the poppas out there, especially the two that I love most! I'm so grateful to have such wonderful men to look up to.
