TINES OF THE VALENS. I sure do love this holiday! Lance and I decided to celebrate TWO DAYS IN A ROW, HOLLA! We decided to go out to eat the day before valentines so as to avoid the ambush of couples at one of our favorite restaurants (that doesn't take reservations). The restaurant is called Bombay House. I like to refer to it as, Bombeeziez. The food there is soooo gooood. Although I've never actually been to India, this place makes you feel like you're sitting inside of the Taj Mahal. Not really, but pretty close! I got a Rose Water Lassi which kiiiinda tasted like soap. It was definitely the rose water. We ate a ton of naan and left with very full, satisfied tummys.
On ACTUAL Valentines Day, I decided to make Chicken Cacciatore and Creme Brulee. SO GOOD PEOPLE. I got the recipe for the cacciatore from one of my favorite cookbooks, and the brulee from good old allrecipes.com. Everything turned out great! My favorite was the Creme Brulee, of course. It was so easy! The hardest part was stirring the creme! And you don't need a blow torch to do it either, just throw em in the broiler.

| Left over Creme Brulee is supreme |
I was lucky enough to even have my sweet husband serenade me with good ol' Jack Johnson while I was cooking. Sure do love him!
I hope you had a wonderful Valentines Day filled with love!
