It's been a while

Well hello there, it's been a couple of months. A couple of things have changed...oh yeah I am married to the love of my life! HELLO BIG CHANGE! Life has been so wonderful! I sure do love this man. Our wedding was literally everything I have ever dreamed of and more. We had such a fun time, hope all our guests did too! ;] Oh yeah I changed the blog layout too...

We went to good ol' Cabo San Lucus for our honeymoon, wish we didn't have to leave! It was so pretty there. I've been having a fun time (kind of) decorating our place. I just want to go to Micheal's/ Hobby Lobby/Home Depot and have a week long copy-every-DIY-thing-on-pinterest. It's definitely pretty awesome having our own space. I love being a family! 

Well I've been trying my best to plan out meals and cook (almost) every night. It's actually been working out pretty well. It's all about planning what you're making. It makes life so much easier! You know what else makes life so much easier? HAVING OUR OWN FRIDGE/FREEZER! There is just so much room! I love buying meat/fruit/vegetables and throwing it in the freezer! That junk will last forever! (ish). 

Lance has been sick for the past week and it has finally come around to me. The good ol' fashioned cold i.e runny nose/sore throat bla bla bla. I woke up this morning and did not want to get out of bed. So I didnt:] 

When I finally decided to get out of bed, I made some homemade chicken noodle (but really chicken + rice...didn't feel like making homemade noodles too) watched some Long Way Round, and decided to make cupcakes. Not just any cupcakes, OMBRE CUPCAKES! The actual cupcake part was pretty standard. Boxed mix actually. The fancy thing about these babies is their beautiful frosting. That also took a million years to do.
