PEOPLE. I made it!! I have been waiting for this moment for a long time. I want to let y'all know that I absolutely love it! I can tell that I'm going to fall in love with people here. They are so wonderful!
I'll give you a little info on what I've been up to...
I’ve been put in charge of an awesome project and a local
high school. We’re going to build long lasting garden beds. The teachers have
agreed to sell the fruit/vegetables we grow in order to provide lunch money for
low-income students. I LOVE IT! I’m definitely using some of my Classic
Landscape knowledge for this baby. I’ll keep y’all updated on our progress.
Today we decided to hit up the town of Succotz to visit the
Mayan ruin called Xunantunich. It was so awesome!! I love ruins! The whole time
I felt like I was in the movie UP aka I felt like I was Russell at paradise
falls! Afterwards we went to a local restaurant to eat. I ate some yummy yummy
fried fish. Probs the best I’ve had. No joke. I loved the town of Succotz. It
was so small. Also, EVERYONE spoke Spanish! I love speaking Spanish.

Last thing. The belize people have THE BEST hot sauce. It's the perfect blend of hot and flavorful!

Sounds so nice! If you need any ideas on the gardening front let me know and your Dad built me my garden bed in the back from his own blueprint...no garden bed in a box for us!
