Weekend hike...

We braved a hike in Northbend in the cold last weekend!

It was beautiful and empty which I loved. Last time I was here the trail was packed.

Also, I got new shoes! And they are the exact same as Lance's haha. They are trail running shoes and they are awesome. I've been just wearing them around on the daily because they're sooooo comfortable.

This is a totally random post. I haven't been taking as many pictures as I've wanted to lately, but here's a couple I've rounded up from the last couple weeks!

Lance and I went to Pikes with my cousin and Aunt. We shared this "grilled cheese over potatoes with pickles". It was ok. I could have just eaten the cheese plain haha.

^^My aunt posing with this ridiculous car that drove by. The two black things on the trunk? Those are TV screens haha.

^^I was in San Francisco for work, we did a cooking class as a team building event. It was awesome!

^^I also went climbing with some of the girls from my office. It was really fun!

^^My high school bestie and I went on a weekend trip to Portland! It was awesome! It was so nice to just hang out, eat lots of yummy food, and have fun!

^^One of my favorite things was Olive Oil flavored ice cream from Salt & Straw. So tasty.

Christmas in Utah

Lance and I spent the holidays with his family in good ol' Utah. It was very weird being back. It's only been 6 months since we've moved, but it definitely does not feel like home anymore. It was great to spend time with family and enjoy a white Christmas!

I did not take as many photos as I would have liked, but here's a couple...

^^Lance's brother-in-law's sister got married and we went to the wedding!

^^Highlight was snowboarding, even if it was only a half day. I'm finally to a point where I feel pretty comfortable carving down the mountain. Hope we can squeeze a couple more trips in before the end of the season!

^^For Lance's birthday we went to TopGolf. Think bowling, but golfing. It was really fun! Also freezing! haha

Gobble Gobble!

Spent a lovely long weekend in California visiting my family for Thanksgiving. It was a quick trip, but we still had the best time. I love my family!

Here's some pics from the weekend...

^^Lance and I splurged on black Friday and got some sunglasses we've both been eyeing for a couple months now. I'm praying I don't sit on them haha.

^^Lance has been waiting since last Christmas to return to his favorite sushi place. It's life changing.

^^Lance played in a turkey bowl with some of my family and people from our church.

^^I ran a 10k with my mom on Thanksgiving morning. Had to pre-burn all the dinner calories!

Hey Beantown!

I had the cool opportunity to visit Boston, MA for a work training a couple weeks ago. I had never been to Boston and I'm so glad I went! The fall colors were breathtaking!!

^^Sunset on the Charles River

^^Bunker Hill Monument. I honestly do not know enough about American history to really appreciate everything in Boston, need to read some books and return.

^^Old cemetery, old like 1600s old.

^^Definitely want the skull and crossbones on my gravestone haha.

^^One of the Saturdays I was there I pretty much just wandered around the city. It was awesome. I love wandering! And discovering! I loved this park.

^^Rowers on the Charles! So cool! I feel like I could get into rowing...

^^I wandered over to MIT aka my dream school if I had known I was doing engineering in high school. Walking around campus felt weird. Really made me miss school!

^^view from my hotel

^^Tried Oysters for the first time! It was an experience! The first one was literally all sea water. Like I just took a giant gulp of it. The second and third ones were not that bad. I think the more I eat them the more I'll like them maybe?

^^Best part of my trip, visiting my buddy Madi!!

^^She goes to Tufts where the mascot is Jumbo the Elephant, how cute is that?

^^We went to this hole in the wall diner that Anthony Bourdain went to! It was very greasy and very yummy.

^^We loved the JFK museum.

^^Part of the Berlin wall!

^^This is the actual ship that the first man orbited the earth in!

^^We also spent the day in Cape Cod. It was the off season, so not busy, but still super beautiful.

^^We climbed to the top of this pilgrim monument!

^^And this blurry picture I took while driving is for my guy Lance. Harvard's Information Technology building! (That's what he studied in school)

Had such a great time, can't wait to go back!
